Free Mammography Clinics  
Free Mammography Clinics for uninsured women in Dutchess County
sponsored by the Cancer Services Program of NY State.
 
Walk-in: Sharon Hospital- October 14th, 4-8pm and October 15th 9-4.
 
By appointment: St. Francis Hospital- October 19th, 4-7pm.
By appointment: Vassar Hospital- October 25th, 4-8pm and October 26th, 4-8pm.
Interested women 40 years old and over and uninsured may call to register at 845-452-2932, ext. 9717.
Out of County residents may call 1-866-442-2262 for free Mammograms in their area.
 
In addition, this program provides free colon cancer screening kits for uninsured men and women, ages 50 to 64. Eligible participants may be able to receive a program funded colonoscopy.
   
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 
The Hudson Valley Chapter of  the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is  holding their 2010 Dutchess and Ulster Out of the Darkness Community Walks on the Walkway Over the Hudson on Saturday, October 23, 2010.
If you are interested in walking or being a volunteer the next meeting is on July 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Adriance Library in Poughkeepsie.
